I woke up to get Abdiel and my stuff ready for my OB/GYN post-partum appointment. MIL made scrambled egg and I ate right before leaving the house to keep me feeling fuller for a longer period of time. Between Añasco and Mayagüuez, there was traffic due to an accident of some sort that I didn't get to see but assumed because I saw several ambulances and police cars pass by. Abdiel had cried all the way to the public parking lot.
I changed and nursed him before heading out to my appointment. I made it at around 11 AM, I was in and out in no time but Abdiel started crying so I nursed him right inside where the secretary's desk was. I had a Pap done and should be getting my results in two week.

Michael and I met up at Western Plaza. I ordered a Steak Chalupa Combo without the dairies and citric (tomato) and after changing Abdiel and nursing him, we headed back to Isabela.

It started raining a little bit on our way home. I was dozing off behind the wheel. Fortunately, my hubby's SIL called and saved me by ringing my phone and that woke me up.

Michael hung onto Abdiel for me while I got a break to move around the house. I sent him off with frozen tubs of food.

I had a good scare because the day before pay day, the pending post usually appears on our USAA account but it didn't this time. Plus, the pay posted around or after 10 AM.

Moi left early to go to work because today was the big exam. I did some laundry in the morning. I also got my ouchless hair ties in the mail. I grabbed a few for my MIL.

I finally found the chart of things that I should and shouldn't eat that Abdiel's ped gave me a while ago.
I called the pediatric gastroenterologist using the number on the paper and finally was able to reach the office. I was told that the doc doesn't take Tricare. I'm amazed... Tricare referred to that doc, gave me the wrong number and also turns out that this doc is not in the Tricare network. Way to go, Tricare.

Before 2PM, I was already at Boriquen's Clinic thinking that I was going to see Eric, the Tricare Coordinator, but he was off today. I wanted to get a hematocrit done for the WIC but since my appointment is this Friday, I wasn't going to be able to get my results before then. I went to Lab Ramey and paid $6 to get it done. The nice lady at the front desk helped me watch Abdiel, who was in the SUV, from the office's glassed door.

I stopped by my in-laws and Moi came by later to eat. As we headed home, I went home and he went to Wal-Mart to get some stuff for Abdiel. He bought a mirror that will allow us to see him from the back and also got him a a device that gets nasal mucus out of our little one.

Moi placed a bid on two Nike Shoes and I bought 30 pairs of socks for him on eBay.

Diaper Wash Day! I'm going to have a mix of GroVia snap-in soaker pads, prefolds, pail liner, and wetbag.
Abdiel has been fussing a lot so I brought him out of our room so Moi could get some rest. I finally opened the nail clipper that Yamira gifted Abdiel when I was pregnant. I cut his nails without a problem. He was sleeping after nursing him.

I helped prepped Moi's overnight meal before he rushed out to go to work by 11 AM. Two men drove into our driveway. Turns out the driver is the owner of Liftmaster who put together the front gate and garage's door. He meant to look for Manuel but since he's no longer here, we could take advantage of the service. Turns out, Moi had closed the front gate but never actually closed so it's open for now. To get another remote control for the doors, the cost is $38 per control.

I've made the mistake of purchasing three King size comforter sets in 100% polyester! I regret making those purchases because Moi likes to use the comforter to cover up and the outer polyester fabric is... rough. Plus, I read that it needs to be DRY CLEANED. UGH. Very pretty designs but comfort and wash-ability is not for us. I'm still waiting for another box to arrive, the third one.
I'm going to use the one that I opened for our guest room and the unopened ones up for sale.

Abdiel pooed twice yesterday but today... he really let it all out in all liquid almost like a bleeding consistency.

Abdiel turns 7 weeks today.

I was about to pull my hair out because Abdiel had been a fussy baby. I dragged the third comforter that I bought from eBay up the stairs. I'm not even opening it. I'll do my best to sell them in PR or put it back on eBay because I bought too many of them.

Moi came home after 2PM. By evening, I bought the downloadable eBook of "The Happiest Baby On The Block" and didn't get to finish it but we sort of tried it out with Abdiel, especially Moi, and it seemed to work. I want to get the DVD.

I visited the WIC for my evaluation with Abdiel at 10 AM. Apparently he measured 22.5" and weighed about 11 lbs with his GroVia diaper and clothes on. He's growing accordingly to the growth chart. Thankfully I qualified once the WIC only took the base pay into consideration.

I carried him in the Ergo. I swung by the fritter's kiosk right across the police station. I got a chicken and beef empanadilla for me because I was starving. Then I stopped by the USPS office to get some flat rate boxes. I returned to the kiosk to get a relleno de papa and a sorullito for Moi. I returned to WIC to pick up my checks and also my 16 GB flash drive that I left at the nurse's office and before heading home, I stopped by the WIC's store to cash the checks that expires tomorrow and also exchanged an expired bag of cereal. The lady tried to weigh the batatas the best that she could but I ended up getting more because it's hard to get the right amount unless you chop some parts here and there.

Finally, I headed home.

Diaper Wash Day! I had never gone this long without washing diapers. Yesterday I was out and about
La Tierra Prometida with Abdiel to buy some vegetables and bread. Then I stopped by Walgreens to take advantage of their $7.99 promotion photo package. I gave my MIL some photos and kept others. It was a pain dealing with Abdiel who was crying because he was hungry but since the photo specialist was busy taking care of multiple customers, it took longer to get my pictures done. Once I got the pics out of the way, I stopped by my in-laws for maybe half an hour.

Then I stopped by Chencho's to get some fritters. I left Abdiel in the SUV and I watched him from the kiosk but apparently he was crying and the lady who was in front of me asked me if I wanted her to watch him. I said please do. Once I was done, I hopped in the vehicle and sped off and Abdiel calmed down. When I got home, Rosie, Ethan, Vilma and Vilma's mom were there to do laundry.

I helped them wash and dry three loads of clothes.

Vilma and her mom left and it was just Rosie and Ethan.

I managed to cook, take care of Abdiel, and do some laundry.

By the time I finished with Rosie's laundry, I dumped Abdiel's diaper into the washer.

Moi, Abdiel, Rosie, Ethan, and I went to drop them off and afterward, we stopped by Wal Mart to get some carpets because Moi is going to cut them out to put them on top of our sofa to prevent further scratching from the cats. I also got five 100% striped beach towels except for the pink one.

I took advantage of the 30% sales plus the 50% discount from Diaper Bag Wrangler on a Wet Bag and a changing pad.

I cleared out the bottom kitchen cabinets and organized the Rubbermaid containers.

We headed out to Church. Mayleen handmade three beautiful burp cloths.
